"Excellente "

"I've been waiting to try motor city tacos! The building itself isn't huge. It's a small dining area attached to a small grocery market. They have many staples a Hispanic family could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered three tacos (Mexican style) to go. All the tacos were served with sliced grilled onions and cilantro. Grilling the onions and having them sliced as opposed to diced was a nice touch. The chicken taco was good. The flavoring of the chicken was nice. The steak, while chopped small and cooked well was not flavored much. But the Al Pastor taco was great! The marinade really shinned through. If you eat pork I highly recommend trying this. The hot salsa wasn't very spicy and the mild was nice. About what you get at most Mexican restaurants."

"When you are here you need to try their Tongue tacos, pastor Tacos and barbacoa those are your winners! They have other stuff like Ceviche tostadas, quesabirrias, chicken, etc plenty of things in their menu and the prices are rly good. All the way in the Back of the store in the fridge area there's a few other desserts. Theres one cake like with a delicious Bailey's flavor that you will want to devour!! First time I see a Mexican Taco place/store around here as clean as this one! Food is authentic and authentic flavors. They have a few pieces of Pan Dulce (Mexican bakery) and they have a small area for Mexican groceries as well where you can find peppers, cactus, Mexican treats and many other products."

"This place is 20/10!! Me and my boyfriend came here for an early lunch before we headed to the beach and we wanted to find an authentic Mexican spot as we are both Mexican food lovers. Food was flavorful and filling, prices were fair and the service was 10/10! Will definitely be back when in the area."

"Driven by this place 100 times and said "Man I have to try this place..." Well I finally did! What a great surprise! These guys have some amazing authentic food. I mean, I have only tried the tacos so far but will return to explore the other dishes. Its an extension of their retail store that offers a selection of items from Mexico as well as some other items. There are about 10 smaller tables to sit and eat but they also have a few tables outside as well under an awning. All of the tacos were amazing and very flavorful. They started with their house made chips and salsa. Then they bring out limes and pickled veggies to top your tacos or eat as a side. We had the chicken, chorizo, pastor and birria tacos and all of them exceeded my expectations! Rice and beans were better than most places and were a great compliment to the tacos. I will 1000% be back to try more dishes! GO!!! You will not regret it! Went back again and tried the Chimichanga... that was amazing as well. I am going to assume its all going to rank up there in the very good to amazing rating! :-) See you soon MCT!"

"Excelente!!! For me, the mark of a great Mexican restaurant is when you can order multiple meats and all of them are juicy and tender. Obviously they need to have great flavor as well . This seems like a low bar, but there are so so many taco restaurants out there that are good, but their meat is just too dry. Not so here! I got a Carnitas, Pastor, Asada, and Chorizo taco, and each one was great. The Carnitas was especially fantastic. Also, major bonus when their chips and salsa and sauces are delicious, which they were. They also added a bowl of pickled carrots, which I loved. Server was super friendly and helpful. Go here!"

"This place is a winner for tacos--you really can't go wrong with them! I made the mistake of trying the Coctel de Camaron y Pulpo, but I was only served shrimp, and honestly, the coctel just isn't up to the standard of the tacos. My biggest complaint, though, is the checkout process: since it's a combined store and restaurant, the register asks for a tip on the entire bill, even the retail items I purchased. That part I definitely don't like."
